A New York man, apparently intoxicated, was arrested March 28 after he allegedly attempted to buy $10,000 of Lumber Liquidators (Toano, Va.) flooring with a fake California ID and matching Chase Visa card, according to CBS New York.
A New York man, apparently intoxicated, was arrested March 28 after he allegedly attempted to buy $10,000 of Lumber Liquidators (Toano, Va.) flooring with a fake California ID and matching Chase Visa card, according to CBS New York.
Authorities told CBS the man, Anand Clifton Persaud, 60, was found with 33 fake IDs and 13 credit cards. Further investigation turned up 32 other IDs with Persaud’s face on them.
He was charged with credit card fraud, identify theft and hindering apprehension, and was sent to Bergen County Jail with a warrant out of Miami-Dade County in Florida.
