The European Commission imposed duties ranging from 6.5–66.7 percent on imports of okoumé plywood from China on April 5, according to Fordaq.
The duties are in response to an investigation spurred by complaints from the European Panel Federation, which claimed the Chinese plywood was being sold at low prices and created an unstable market.
Four producers will receive duties between 6.5–23.5 percent. All other producers will receive duties of 66.7 percent.
