The EPA withdrew the deadline extensions because it received adverse comments on the extensions during a 15-day public comment period.
The original compliance dates will remain in effect until another agency action is taken. The original dates are as follows:
The date to comply with the rule’s emission standards, recordkeeping and labeling provisions is Dec. 12. The date for import certification provisions is Dec. 12, 2018. The date for laminated product producer provisions is Dec. 12, 2023. And the conclusion of the transition period for CARB third-party certifiers is Dec. 12, 2018.
