AHF Announces Price Increases for Hardwood Products Starting April 26

AHF Products (Mountville, Pa.) will increase prices on select hardwood flooring products in the U.S. and Canada on orders placed starting April 26.

Price increases on engineered hardwood products produced in the U.S. and Asia (excluding Cambodia) will average 7–13%, with a $0.20 minimum increase per square foot. For solid hardwood products, the company will implement price increases averaging 8–10%, with a $0.25 minimum increase per square foot.

The price increase announcement replaces AHF's initial announcement of increases that were originally set to begin April 1, according to the company.

“We are continuing to experience extraordinary raw material cost inflation on key hardwood flooring components, including lumber, veneers and core materials, which we expect to persist,” stated Chris King, VP-sales. “As a result, we find it necessary to increase prices on certain products.”

There is no price increase at this time for Hartco Contract or Bruce LifeSeal Reserve products, which are manufactured in China.
