WFB Briefs: Housing Affordability at 10-Year Low; NeoCon Registration Opens

Housing affordability dropped to a 10-year low between October and the end of December, as only 54.2% of new and existing homes sold were affordable to families earning the U.S. median income of $79,900, the National Association of Home Builders reported. The percentage is down from 59.6% of homes sold in the third quarter of 2021 and was the lowest affordability level recorded since the first quarter of 2012.
