An animal rights activist caused a disruption during an NBA play-in game at Target Center after gluing her hand to the hardwood, Fox 9 reported.
The incident occurred during the second quarter in a game between the Timberwolves and the Clippers Tuesday, April 12. The protester glued her hand to the baseline and was quickly escorted off the floor by security. The game paused briefly as Target Center employees cleaned the glue off the court, according to Fox 9.
The Timberwolves organization issued a statement saying they are in touch with Target Center security to address the incident.
The activist was reportedly protesting the mass killing of chickens at a factory egg farm in Iowa.
