
Berger-Seidle announced it has invested in green internal distillation infrastructure at its headquarters in Germany.
The new distillation facility is designed to recycle solvents and cleaning agents used for the company’s manufacturing plants and loop them back for the next cleaning process.
“Waste is being reduced to a very low percentage,” the company stated. “No more truck transports needed. Consumption of cleaning solvents is now extremely minimized. The closed process performs with a very low solvent emitting level in the atmosphere.”
Chairman and Managing Partner Markus Adam said it is the company’s mission to constantly raise the bar when it comes to sustainability.
