Home prices were unchanged in June compared with June 2022, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index.
The results were an improvement from May’s 0.4% decline year-over-year.
The 10-City Composite had a year-over-year decrease of 0.5%, up from May’s annual 1.1% decline. The 20-City Composite had a year-over-year loss of 1.2%, compared with a loss of 1.7% in May.
Chicago, Cleveland and New York reported the highest year-over-year home price gains among the 20 cities, growing 4.2%, 4.1% and 3.4%, respectively.
