AHF Products (Mountville, Pa.) announced that Jerry Sporich, the founder and president of the North American business unit of LM Flooring, will retire Oct. 31.
Sporich founded the Dallas, Texas-based flooring company in 2001 to service the LM Flooring business in the U.S. and Canada. LM Flooring was acquired by AHF Products in July.
Sporich had been planning to retire prior to AHF’s purchase of LM Flooring, but stayed on to aid in the transition.
“It’s been rewarding to see this company grow and develop, and to help build a team dedicated to providing world-class service and great products that will continue to drive the business forward,” Sporich said in a statement.
After Sporich retires at the end of this month, Andy Piwonski has been promoted to vice president and general manager, and Kevin Whaley has been promoted to vice president of sales and product for LM Flooring.
“We are thrilled to have Kevin and Andy leading the LM Flooring business in its next chapter of growth,” AHF Products President and CEO Brian Carson stated. “Both are exceptional servant leaders who will create value for our customers, and in turn, ourselves."
