This issue's shameful photo comes to us via Christopher Thorsby of Richmond, Mich.-based Thorsby Hardwood Flooring LLC. It's a great example of what happens when you mix color into your finish. He tells us, "This is a job my buddy needed me to do for one of his rentals. Four or five years ago he hired a different guy to do it, and he did a coat of polyurethane but he mixed the stain into it! Now you can see where they were walking throughout the house."
