This Trick of the Trade is from Jason Arnold, owner/operator at Edmonton, Alberta-based Walnut Grove Hardwood Floors:
I recently got my own warehouse-type shop so I would have room to do things like create my own herringbone, and I also wanted to park my trailer in my shop. I needed my own bench, but of course you never have enough room, so I wanted a bench that I could move out of the way when it wasn’t in use. Then on YouTube I saw a guy with plans for a workbench that could be folded and hung on the wall. I ordered his plans, and they were very detailed and easy to follow. Using 2-by-4s and a couple slabs of pine board for a sturdy top, plus some wheels, I was able to easily build this rolling and folding bench, maximizing space in my shop.
