Drilling holes for stair balusters can be a messy task, with wood dust and chips flying everywhere. However, with a simple DIY dust collection hack using a plastic bottle, you can significantly reduce the mess and keep your workspace much cleaner and more efficient. Just cut off the top of a clear plastic bottle and make a hole that perfectly fits your vacuum hose—it makes it cleaner and easier to see your work.
