Trick of the Trade: Measuring Custom Color

Being able to create custom colors is an essential skill for any high-end wood flooring contractor these days, and that means creating endless samples. To be able to recreate those samples, you need to keep a recipe with exact measurements of the color mix. Those of us with kids often end up with stacks of those little plastic measuring cups you get with kids' medicines. I've found they come in handy for a quick measure of your stains, dyes, etc.
