MAPEI Korea will continue to manufacture products under the Ceresit and Thomsit trademarks for a maximum of three years, after which the products will be joined with the larger MAPEI product range. According to MAPEI, the expansion falls within the framework of a €200-million investment program in the Asia-Pacific region, which includes Oceania.
MAPEI opened a distribution center in Mexico in December.
