Wood flooring sales in the European market during the first three quarters of 2015 were relatively stable compared to the same period in 2014, according to a meeting of the European Federation of the Parquet Industry reported by Fordaq.
Sales in Poland and the United Kingdom appeared to increase by 3 percent and 4–6 percent, respectively. The Netherlands experienced a slight increase of 1 percent as a result of the housing market that has a better outlook than it had in the past seven years.
Sales of wood flooring in Finland and Norway were down an estimated 6–8 percent.
The majority of countries, including Germany, France and Italy, reported that sales remained stable.
