HPS North America - Schönox (Florence, Ala.) named three companies as the winners of the 2015 Worst Subfloor Contest.

First place went to Right Touch Interiors of Greensboro, N.C. The company successfully repaired a 7,500-square-foot, 40-year-old concrete slab that another company had tried to repair but ultimately failed.

River City Flooring (Hudsonville, Mich.) received second place for its work on a 14,000-square-foot subfloor with many voids and irregular areas.

And in third place, Popp Enterprises (Salt Lake City) renovated the floors in 54 multifamily units containing broken gypcrete and multiple floor coverings, as well as voids in the subfloor and old adhesive.

The winning companies received Schönox dollars based on the severity of the subfloor project submitted, and three members of each company were awarded prizes that ranged from weekend getaways to BBQ grills and coolers.
