NAFCD Names 2016 Lifetime Award Winners

The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors named Lucky Burke of Reader’s Wholesale Distributors Ltd. (Houston) and Dennis Cook and Melinda McChesney of Gilford Johnson](http://gilfordjohnson.com/) (Atlanta) as its Lifetime Achievement Award recipients.

The award recognizes individuals for displaying exceptional leadership in the floor covering distribution industry.

Burke’s career began 43 years ago at Armstrong in 1974. He moved to Houston and began working as a sales manager for Reader’s Wholesale and became president of the company in 1986.

Cook and McChesney have both served on a number of industry board of directors, including the NAFCD.
