The New York skyline has no shortage of luxury buildings, but one of the latest additions, dubbed the “Jenga Tower,” has been making waves with its puzzle-like design, according to architizer.com.
Though designed to give residents an outward view of the lower Manhattan skyline, some of the beauty of the recently completed 56 Leonard Street in Tribeca, N.Y., comes from the elegant wood floors featured in its units, which jut out from the building’s slim core, giving it the look of a classy “Jenga” tower.
Manufactured by RQ Floors (South Hackensack, N.J.), the building’s white oak floors are coated with “light-reflective” finishes and have lighter tones to complement the other lavish interior materials, such as white marble and acid-etched mirrored cabinets.
The impressive building has been a decade in the making and was designed by architects at Hill West.
